Summer at Covenant Week 4

Week 4: June 20-24

Morning Camps:

Camp Brick: Ready, Set, Build!
Rising PreK-Rising 4th
Led by Camp Brick Staff

This camp is designed for the child who is already building LEGO® sets with instructions independently. Campers will chose from hundreds of themed sets from which to build. Themes such as Star Wars, CITY, Ninjago, CHIMA, Atlantis, Agents and more. Campers will be seated by age group and will be encouraged to build independently as well as in small groups on larger projects such as the Death Star and The Taj Mahal. The Camp Brick staff will assist your child if needed and offer helpful building tips as your child builds and displays their creations. A few times during the week campers may enjoy some social games and contests for prizes. At the end of the day campers will display their creations for parents to view. Bring a camera!!

Story Time Art Camp
Rising PreK-2nd Graders
Led by Christina Dunlap and Holly Madrigal

Take story time to the next level! Campers will read stories together and then create art projects based off of those stories. 

Basketball Skills Camp (Tuesday-Thursday only)
Rising 1st-6th Graders

Afternoon Camps:

Camp Brick: Fun with Robotics
Rising 2nd-7th Graders
Led by Camp Brick Staff

Get ready to explore the exciting world of robotics. During this camp your child will be introduced to programming and building simple models with LEGO® bricks in the WeDo Family, LEGO BOOST, and MINDSTORMS programs. All three of these exciting programs bring your LEGO creations to life. Watch as your creations   move and make sound. This class combines building and programming with fun and excitement. Basic knowledge of gears, motors, and pulleys will be introduced. Children will need to bring an IPad or Kindle with FREE LEGO® App downloaded. Children will be grouped according to age and ability.

Wacky and Wild Experiments
Rising PreK-2nd Graders

Don’t let your child lose their thirst to wonder this summer! Your young scientist will get wild and wacky as they dive into science experiments that fizzle, flop, float, pop, spin, soar and slide. This camp will feed your child’s curiosity with hands-on sensory activities full of exploring, examining, and experimenting. Plunge into this exciting science adventure!
