“I Love France” Art Camp (Rising 1st-6th Graders, led by Tiffany Dupree) Take a trip to France this summer and learn all about the amazing artists that called France their home. Monet, Cezanne, Van Gogh, Matisse, Degas and so many more!!! We will work with paint, paper mache, clay, printmaking as well as charcoal and pastels followed by an art show on Friday. Come with open eyes, an open heart and a mind exploding with creativity. *ends at 3 p.m.
Morning (9 a.m.- noon):
Cardboard Camp #1 (Rising 1st and 2nd Graders, led be Kim Haywood and Christina Dunlap) Where creativity and engineering collide! Campers will make cardboard projects based upon a daily theme (roller coasters, pinball, race tracks, etc).
Lions, Tigers and Bears…Oh My! (Rising PreS 4s-PreK, led by Ivette Jungman and Jennifer Becket) Come to The Big Top with us as we explore the circus through STEM, making tasty treats, and arts and crafts. Campers will enjoy indoor and outdoor activities that will engage their gross and fine motor skills. Snacks will be provided.
American Girl Doll Camp (Rising K-4th, led by Holly Madrigal and Laura Tapscott) This summer camp is perfect for all doll loving girls! We will dive into the exciting worlds of various American Girl dolls with lots of fun activities. Each day will be filled with crafts, games, activities and just having fun! Campers will bring their own AG doll or a doll that is similar in size to an AG doll. (Plus we’ll have dolls on hand if you don’t have one.) We’ll celebrate with a tea party with our dolls on the last day of camp.
Puppet Power (Rising 2nd-4th, led by Robb Killen, Ellen Dunn and Webster) You can be anything you want to be when you have a puppet in your hands! Come learn to be a puppeteer with different kinds of puppets. Learn the secrets of making a video with Webster and have a blast making your own music video with puppets!
MOVE Camp (Rising 3rd-6th, led by Allie Cooper and Courtney Anderson) I like to move it, move it! Join Mrs. Cooper and Mrs. Anderson for mornings of relay races, obstacle courses, yoga, and more!! Learn how God has designed your miraculous body to run, jump, twist, turn, and rest.
Afternoon (12:30-3:30 p.m.)
NERF Camp #1 (Rising 2nd-6th, led by Mark Littlefield) Campers will battle with Nerf blasters in multiple team games and in some individual games. Play capture the flag, The Hunger Games, single elimination and more. You’ll only stop playing when you’re out of breath or for a quick water break. We will provide the Nerf Blaster and eye-wear protection during camp.
The World’s A Stage (Rising 4th-6th, led by Jennifer Becket) This camp is designed to help kids build their theater knowledge and develop their creative side. Using theater games and scene study, campers will learn various acting techniques and direction. Campers will also practice public speaking, collaboration, creative thinking, and teamwork.
Ready, Set, Goal! (Rising PreS 4s and PreK, led by Ivette and Matthew Jungman) Come join us and have fun learning the fundamentals of soccer. We will focus on strengthening gross motor skills, math skills, and socialization .
