Read Across America Day is TOMORROW. This national holiday is in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday and schools across the country will be celebrating reading. Students will be allowed to wear comfy clothes (pajamas are permitted) and bring a pillow, blanket, and a stuffed animal. Students should bring 1-2 books from home to read throughout the day.

Reminder: Parents, please remember to double check your child’s uniform before bringing them to school. It’s easy to become casual with our dress code policies during the spring, so please work with us to help our children with this responsibility.

Mills Uniform Company Update: Our original plaid fabric will not be available in the Brentwood store until mid-May. If you need a skirt or skort before that time, please contact Mrs. Holt-Evans in the school office for assistance.

Help us SPREAD THE WORD! We have just a few more spots available in Preschool, PreK, and Kindergarten. Tell your friends about Covenant and let’s get those spots filled!

Summer Camps

Mrs. Dupree’s Summer Art Camp is inspired by the Frist exhibit Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, and Mexican Modernism. Campers will be studying and creating some projects based on the show as well as some Mexican folk art. They will use clay, paper mache,  printmaking, acrylic paint, as well as other fun mediums. On the morning of June 14, we will be traveling to the Frist Center to see the exhibit for ourselves. The art show will be on Friday afternoon to conclude our week of art.

Grab your flashlight and gather around the campfire for a week full of fun with Mrs. Madrigal and Coach Myrick! Campers will have adventures through literature, arts and crafts, dramatic play, games, cooking and singing over the campfire. We hope you join us because camper’s have S’more fun!
