This summer camp is perfect for all doll-loving girls! We will dive into many of the exciting time periods of the historical American Girl dolls. Each day we will get our creativity flowing with crafts, lots of games, pretend play, and of course, tons of fun! Campers will bring their own American Girl doll or a doll that is similar in size. Dolls will be on hand if you don’t have one. We’ll celebrate with a tea party on the last day of camp!

Our field day teams are gearing up to compete and we need YOU to give our kids a fun, organized, memorable day. We cannot do this event without parent support across all grades of our school and how amazing to finish the year by coming together. We have been dialing in our beloved Covenant Field Day over the past five years and feel confident that you will be supported as you volunteer for us. In whatever role you decide to fill (administrative, logical, athletic, creative, etc.) we have a place for you! Each job will get a detailed email the week of field day further explaining your role and how to approach the job you’ve signed up for. We cannot wait to share this day with you all!

Annual Fund Update

Congratulations to the 3rd Grade, who reached 100% parent participation and will get a pizza and popsicle party to celebrate! This week is Covenant’s “Week of Giving!” Each grade that reaches 100% parent participation will get uniform passes, so keep the giving going!

Thanks to your generosity over the past few weeks, we are at 53% parent participation as a school! Every single donation makes a difference in the life of the school, so please prayerfully consider giving what you are able today by donating today online or Venmo @covenantgiving.

Parent Focus Groups

You will be invited to participate in one of our Parent Focus Groups coming up in early May — May 2 for parents of 3rd—6th graders and May 9 for parents of Preschool—2nd graders. Focus Groups will take place at 8:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 6:30 PM each of those days.

Parents of 3rd-6th graders received an email with a link to register yesterday. Parents of Preschool-1st graders will receive emails next week. Watch your inbox for an invitation and registration form. You may get invited to more than one focus group if you have children in each of the age groups, but please attend only once. If you participated in our focus groups in January, there is no need for you to attend this round.

This discussion and the feedback we receive will be part of our larger self-study process that will culminate in a visit from our accreditors in the Spring of 2020. We hope you will be able to participate in this opportunity to provide us with helpful feedback.
