The Parents Association is so grateful for the many ways you have loved our school community this year. Please join us in the Fellowship Hall from 7:30-9:00 AM on Thursday, May 2 for a chance to sit down and visit over breakfast and coffee. Whether you chaired an event, painted sets, drove on field trips, or showed up with waters & snacks, ALL are welcome! We are thankful for each of you!

TCS Service Project: Homeless Care Kits

PreK—6 students will be collecting items that Student Council members will assemble into care kits. These kits will be given to each TCS family and can be placed in your car so that you may distribute to a needy individual you might see while traveling around the city. Our hope is for all items to be at school by Friday, April 19. To estimate our need, we are hoping to assemble 140 kits, so take your class’ enrollment and divide it into 140. That number represents the quantity of the item listed by your child’s grade level that we are hoping you could contribute. Each care kit will have some helpful literature on local resources, along with Scripture, and a prayer. This is becoming a tradition each spring at The Covenant School for our families!

PreK: Small boxes of Band-Aids
Kindergarten: Boxes of snack-sized chips
1st Grade: Packs of tube socks
2nd Grade: Packs of hand wipes
3rd Grade: Lip balms (inexpensive, preferably with sunscreen)
4th Grade: Fruit cups
5th Grade: Mint packs/gum packs/cough drop packs
6th Grade: Boxes of heavy-duty gallon-sized Ziploc bags

Thank you so much to parents who have given to the Annual Fund in the past week!

We are currently at 45.5% parent participation as a school. Will you partner with us to help make Covenant the best it can be? Every single donation makes a difference in the life of the school, so please prayerfully considering giving what you are able today. The first grade to reach 100% parent participation will win a pizza and popsicle party, so help your child’s grade win by donating online or Venmo @covenantgiving.
