The Student Council at The Covenant School is made up of Officers and Representatives from grades 2-6. The Council meets each month during the school year in the Conference Room. The business of the Student Council centers on fun activities for the student body and service through charitable organizations in the Nashville area.
The Student Council recommends to the Head of School such fun activities as special dress up days (Sports Day, Wacky Wednesday, and Pink/Purple or Blue/Green Day) and the end-of-the-year school-wide Scavenger Hunt.
The Council sponsors a Bake Sale in February. The proceeds from the Bake Sale are given to worthwhile local charities (Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Oasis Center, Union Mission, and Habitat for Humanity). A portion of the Bake Sale proceeds are used to sponsor the Scavenger Hunt in May.
