Clubs & Athletics
Led by the Director of the Nashville Chess Center, Chess Master Todd D. Andrews, the Chess Club offers fun filled and educational experiences where Covenant School students in grades 1st-6th can learn their first moves or become more accomplished players. Todd's postive, encouraging attitude fosters friendships and teamwork.
The Environmental Protection Club focuses on being a steward of God's creation. The club helps to organize the school wide paper-recycling program. They discuss and implement ways to reduce waste and carbon footprinting while sharing their ideas with the school community.
Cross Country running is offered in the fall to students in grades
K-6. Runners practice after school and participate in cross-country meets with other elementary schools. The season runs September-October.
Fifth and Sixth grade boys and girls may participate in basketball. The season starts in November and runs through February. Practice is held in the Covenant School gym after school. Go Knights!
