SuperSkills Soccer USA is a youth soccer development program owned and operated by former US Men’s National Team Player, US Soccer Olympian, European player & Coach, and German UEFA Pro License Coach Brent Goulet. Brent is a born again Christian who conveniently lives in Brentwood and will be leading this after school program at Covenant. The #1 problem with soccer in the US is that kids at the youngest level are not being taught proper mechanics of dribbling and ball control. That inefficiency leads to kids developing as players who “participate”, while perfecting technical deficiencies that hinder ability for future high level play whether it be high school, college, or at the highest level of becoming a professional.
The SuperSkills system revolves around teaching and coaching kids to be excellent dribblers, confident with the ball who learn to master the art of 1-v-1 competition. Whether your child loves soccer or not, this opportunity is fantastic for improving the agility, coordination, and footwork beneficial to any sport or activity in which they might participate.
Coach Short conducts tennis clinics for boys and girls in grades 3-4 during the Spring Season. Participants will work on fundamental skills, spend time in individual instruction, and participate in competition with others in the group. Practices will be held at the Burton Hills tennis courts.
