Why doesn't Covenant charge enough in tuition to cover operating costs?

By keeping tuition as low as possible, we remain more accessible to as many families as possible. Every family benefits from keeping tuition as affordable as possible.

Is giving to the Annual Fund unique to Covenant School?

No. Independent schools have long relied upon the loyalty and generosity of their constituents. Very few independent schools meet full operational costs with tuition alone.

Who should give to the Annual Fund?

The Annual Fund is the first and most important philanthropic gift asked of every trustee, faculty, staff, parent, grandparent, alumni and friend of Covenant School. Your gift to the Annual Fund is a visible demonstration of your belief in the mission of the school.

Why is participation so important?

Strong participation demonstrates the commitment and dedication of our community and helps us in acquiring gifts from foundation grants. High participation from all the school's constituent groups is also a measure of excellence used by SACS/SAIS for accreditation criteria. This is why we need and appreciate gifts of every size.

Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes. The Covenant School is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization.
