Lower School

A Covenant School education begins in the lower school for kindergarten students and continues through fourth grade. Students are immersed in a loving, Christ-centered environment with high expectations and rigorous academics. The Covenant School lower school encourages discovery, creativity, and self-expression in each child, and the students learn to be problem-solvers and independent thinkers.

With an individualized approach to instruction, our teachers teach mastery of skills and challenge the students to develop critical thinking and creativity. Our students love learning as they grow intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Our lower school also places a strong emphasis on the arts and enrichment classes, which include Bible, art, library, music, P.E., Spanish, and technology.

The Covenant School lower school program excels at balancing academics with social and spiritual development by emphasizing Biblical truths in the classroom as the students work, play, and pray together. Through daily chapel, twice weekly Bible classes, service opportunities, and scripture, our students learn the value of character and integrity and develop a foundation for a lifetime of learning and service.
