English

English assignments cover a variety of literary genres including short stories, myths, poetry, novels, plays and folktales. Tasks often correspond with the students' history curricula. Many assignments address the theme of Servant Leadership. Each project is designed to accomplish specific learning objectives through six components: Literature, Vocabulary, Writing, Spelling, Grammar and Oral Presentation. Students achieve the learning objectives through individual reading comprehension, individual writing applications, writing workshops, group discussion, group presentations, individual presentations, creative activities, research and technology. English assignments encourage students to explore, to imagine, and to create as they learn to read closely, to think critcally, to write powerfully and to communicate effectively.
