Library
The Covenant School library provides a number of resources for our faculty and students which support the school’s mission statement, the curriculum, and nurtures a love of reading.
Classes come to the library once a week to check out books from our growing collection. While students are in library they also will have story time, research topics for school projects, or discuss library skills.
One great program that has helped The Covenant School library to grow is the Birthday Book Program. For each child’s birthday we encourage them to donate a favorite book or a book from the list on the website to the library in honor of their birthday. In chapel on Fridays Dr. Campbell asks the child to come up front to show the school the book they will be donating. A book plate with the child’s name and birthday is placed in the book before it begins to circulate.
