Prior to coming to The Covenant School Dr. Bill Campbell served as Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Vanderbilt and headmaster at Franklin Road Academy, Memphis University School and Tuscaloosa Academy. During his twenty-six years as a head of school, Dr. Campbell served in leadership rolls as chairman of the Board of the Educational Records Bureau (ERB), chairman of the Alabama Association of Independent Schools (AAIS), and chairman of numerous accreditation visiting teams for the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools (SACS).
Bill Campbell and his wife, Beth, are blessed with three adult children and seven grandchildren. The Campbell’s have a weekend and summer home on the Great Falls
Reservoir in Rock Island, TN. where Dr. Campbell enjoys fishing, boating, hiking, teaching adult Sunday school, and reading.
